Horse Guard Escorts Walkers At Light The Night Event

The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard helped to get the Newtown Light the Night for Leukemia and Lymphoma off to a rousing start by providing a mounted Color Guard to escort the walkers at the beginning of the September 25 event.

 The walk was held at the Newtown Fairfield Hills Campus and was attended by hundreds of enthusiastic walkers and survivors. State Representative Chris Lyddy was also there to lend his support to this worthy cause and walked in memory of a friend.
