To The Editor:

I am writing in today to encourage you to vote for Ben Ruben this November. Ben is running for re-election for the Legislative Council in District 3. Because we are neighbors, I have had the pleasure of voting for him previously, and I encourage you to do so again this year.

As a Newtown resident and parent of kids in the Newtown Public Schools, we have had countless conversations about our tax dollars and how and where they are being spent. Ben is a great listener, considers ideas, concerns, and hopes for a Better Newtown. His willingness to talk openly to his own neighbor also stretches to those he is just meeting for the first time (as I’ve witnessed first-hand during all his door knocking).

Ben wants what is right for Newtown and he wants to accomplish that by working together with all its residents. Newtown deserves Ben for another two years — hopefully more — to be a voice for all.
