Family Fun For Halloween In CityCenter Danbury
DANBURY â CityCenter Danbury will host a series of ghoulishly fun Halloween activities for children on Saturday, October 20. Entertaining, quality events for families are always taking place throughout CityCenter Danbury and the festivities planned for this Halloween are no exception.
âHalloween is one of the most popular traditions children look forward to year after year,â notes Nancy Whitfield, the executive director of CityCenter Danbury Special Service District. âThe âtrickâ is for parents to find Halloween âtreatsâ for their kids that are fun and safe.â
Families can start their Halloween adventure with âAlice in Pumpkinlandâ at the Danbury Public Library (telephone 797-4527) where children are invited to wear their costumes, decorate a treat bag, and get a special treat. The kids can then walk just two blocks over to âHalloween on the Greenâ sponsored by CityCenter Danbury (792-1711), The Danbury Downtown Council, Danbury Jaycees, and Danbury Kiwanis Club held on the Danbury Green from 2 to 4 pm. There, children will be invited to participate in a spine-tingling costume parade, enjoy a magician, face painting, goodie bags, and pictures with their favorite ghost, ghoul, or goblin. Childrenâs performer John Fogarty will present his âSpooktacular Kids Music Show.â Prizes will be given for the most original, scariest, and funniest costumes.
