An Angel Taken From Us

To the Editor:

God came and took an angel into his arms this week. Manisa Simoes took on wings and became the tinkle of wind chimes making music in my life.

She had an infectious smile and a bubbly personality that I won’t soon forget.

She was one of my “florist kids.” I nickname all the special kids I work with at Stop & Shop and she was my “cream puff.” A sweeter-nicer kid you will never find. On a rainy day she was the sun and on cold days she was warmth.

Everyone of us who had the honor of knowing this young woman is grateful for her short life and how she touched us all. Another light has gone out for us. She was loved. My deepest sympathy to us all
