Holly Phaneuf was recently selected to participate in the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) in Washington, D.C., from October 28 to November 2. NYLC is a unique leadership program for high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and scholastic merit.

James G Dunseith received a bachelor of arts degree in both English and computer science from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt., at the 2003 commencement ceremony May 25. New Mexico Govenor William Richardson delivered the commencement address, commending students for their achievements and advising them to embrace three kinds of activity throughout their lifetime: participating in public service, taking a stand, and returning to their roots.
