Parent Connection

A grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness concerning substance abuse. The second forum will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at 7 pm, in the Newtown Middle School auditorium. Presenting that evening will be Dana Schubert from the Newtown Police Department.

Hope Support Group

Support group for parents of children involved with substance abuse. This group meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. All are welcome.

 

Youth Programs

4H — Grades 5 and 6, 3 to 4:30 Tuesday at the Greenhouse at Fairfield Hills

 

HYSAB (High School Youth Advisory Board) A community service group next meeting Monday, October 20, at 5:45 pm.

MSYAB (Middle School Youth Advisory Board) A community service group next meeting Wednesday, October 15, from 12:15 to 1:15 pm.

 

NYCAAP (Newtown Youth Creating AIDS Awareness for Peers) Please call for meeting schedule.
