Bruce Walczak, Experienced And Community-Centered
To The Editor:
When I think about leadership in a town, I picture someone with decades of experience handling a hundred-million-dollar budget and bringing different departments together to support both the staff and the community. This person is community-centered and listens to all points of view to gain perspective beyond the confines of their office.
If you share a similar vision, consider voting for Bruce Walczak for First Selectman.
With over 50 years of business experience, including managing a $ 40 million budget and hundreds of employees, and decades of service through volunteerism and elected positions, Bruce has consistently focused on community support.
Bruce believes the community benefits when departments establish clear, short-term, and long-term goals and have strategies in place to achieve them. As First Selectman, he’ll support the creation of these guidelines and ensure everyone’s on the same page. With a focus on updating technology and transitioning from paper to digital, he aims to help departments communicate more efficiently.
Bruce understands the importance of weighing the pros and cons of distributing budgetary allocations. He recognizes the importance of carefully weighing the value given or lost to the community by every decision made across boards and departments. He believes that every dollar spent should benefit every member of our community.
Bruce has a unique ability to bring people with opposing views to the table and engage them in meaningful dialogue. This inclusive approach ensures that every voice is heard and considered.
Bruce Walczak has actively taken roles, whether through business or community service, which reflect the active voice needed by an administrator who understands the community’s needs and has a plan to meet those needs.
Vote Bruce Walczak for First Selectman.
