To The Editor:

I am writing in support of Ben Ruben for Legislative Council in District 3. Ben and I met back in 2021 while both sitting on the Board of the Newtown Community Center. Since then, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Ben, and all that he has to offer our community.

In the short period of time that he has lived here and I have gotten to know him, his impact has been a positive one. Almost immediately upon moving here, Ben became hands on in the community.

His drive and passion for a place I have called home much longer than him is admirable. Ben takes into consideration all the residents of our town, myself being a senior resident, when deciding his positions on the Legislative Council’s tasks.

I have experienced him to always be a fair and understanding listener, open minded and considerate.

Ben is and will continue to be a positive force on the Legislative Council, representing all stages of life that reside in Newtown.

Which is why I am asking for your support in voting for Ben Ruben in November’s election.
