MINORS

 

TITANS 18, DANBURY 4: Nick Saviano pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts to lead the Titans. Jeff Spencer had a bases-clearing triple while Pete Wlasuk and Joe Cappiello each doubled. Saviano drove in four runs. Drew Woods, Mike Notaro and Dan McSweeney had solid games in the field.

TITANS 8, RAZORS 2: Ian Mason and Joe Cappiello had two hits apiece and Pete Wlasuk struck out 11 batters over four innings to lead the Titans to the win. Jeff Spencer also pitched well while Matt Baier hit the ball hard. Baier, Patrick Stein and Ian Archer were solid in the field. For the Razors, Steven Berg hit the ball well. Cameron Gehrmann, Robbie Phillips and Tyler Davenport had good defensive performances.

GLADIATORS 14, NIGHTHAWKS 2: Dave Kopyscinski, Keith Hoffman, Mxwell Muraskiewicz and John Savarese had good games and led the Gladiators to a big win over the Nighthawks. For the Nighthawks, Mike Coates, Robert Brautigam, Joe Fedak and Dave Bray played well.
