NEWTOWN GREEN 16, NEW MILFORD 2: Brian Fogelstrom was 3-for-3 with three RBI and Seth Hull was 2-for-3 as the Green team rolled. Eleven of 12 batters drove in at least one run. Eric Rodriguez was solid at second base while Alex Dolan, Mike Hennessey and Colin Cieniawa limited New Milford to three hits.

BETHEL 8, NEWTOWN GREEN 7: Seth Hull was 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored and Mike Hennessey was 1-for-2 with three runs scored, but the Green team fell to Bethel. Jim Leebaert, Colin Cieniawa and Alex Dolan all had hits. Brian Fogelstrom and Hennessey pitched well, with Hennessey pitching himself out of a no-out, bases-loaded jam in the fifth.

NEWTOWN RED DEVILS 14, RIDGEFIELD 6: Brian Duffy, Nick Pollard and Ben Striano led an offense that scored 14 runs in a win over Ridgefield. Pete Oggeri and Liam Cawley were solid in the field. Brad Rochwarger and David Modzelewski pitched well.

NEWTOWN RED DEVILS 14, ASPETUCK 2: David Villareal, Mike Ferrero and Liam Cawley powered the offense, John Graham and Kevin Silber led the defense, and Brian Duffy, Brad Rochwarger and David Modzelewski pitched well in a win over Aspetuck.

NEWTOWN RED DEVILS 17, NEW MILFORD 4: Brian Duffy was 4-for-4 and Pete Oggeri was 3-for-4 as the Red Devils pounded New Milford. Kevin Silber and John Graham hit the ball hard. Brad Rochwarger, David Modzelewski and Brian Duffy all pitched well. Matt Cole and Ben Striano were solid in the field.

NEWTOWN EAGLES 6, BETHEL 2: Adam Feldman, Joel Minalgo and Matt Cluff hit the ball hard as the Eagles defeated Bethel. Walt Murphy and Evan Gregoire played well in the field. Tony Gallucci, Mike Woessner, Mike Maher and Chris Basso pitched a fine game.

NEWTOWN EAGLES 13, NEWTOWN BOMBERS 3: Max Rochwarger, Kevin Herring and Evan Gregoire led the offense in a win over the local Bombers. Walt Murphy, Tony Gallucci and Mike Woessner played well in the field while Danny Cartisano, Mime Maher and Chris Basso pitched well. For the Bombers, Ricky Camejo, Mickey Fay and Tom Merrifield all hit well. Merrifield and Max Muraskiewicz pitched a nice game.

NEWTOWN EAGLES 1, NEWTOWN BOMBERS 0: Walt Murphy drove in Tony Gallucci with the winning run in the eighth inning to lead the Eagles. David Kopyscinski, Adam Feldman and Joel Minalgo all played stellar defense while Mike Woessner, Gallucci and Chris Basso combined on the mound for 19 strikeouts. For the Bombers, Max Muraskiewicz pitched a solid game, whiffing 20 batters. Ricky Camejo and Mickey Fay were great in the field.

ROOKIES

 

PIRATES versus RANGERS: Curtis Droniak, Richard Sandley, Michael Lengel and Timmy Wilder all played well for the Rangers.
