Fulkerson  Memorial Service
A memorial service for the late Charles E. Fulkerson, a prominent area business and civic leader, will be held Saturday, October 20, at 10 am at Christ Episcopal Church in Roxbury. The Rev George E. Hall will officiate.
Mr Fulkerson died July 21 at the age of 90 after a short illness. He was buried in Chillicothe, Mo., his birthplace. Mr Fulkerson was founder and past president of Waterbury Pressed Metal Company, past president of the Waterbury Hospital, vice president of the Waterbury Visiting Nursing Association, and a former city alderman.
In Roxbury, where he lived for more than 30 years, Mr Fulkerson was a chairman of the Roxbury School Board and Roxbury Historic District. Mr Fulkerson was a resident of East Hill Woods in Southbury at the time of his death. He is survived by a son, three daughters, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
A reception will be held at the Parish House of Christ Episcopal Church immediately after the memorial service.
