Adopt A Cat From The Animal Center

The following cats are available for adoption through The Animal Center:

CASSIE and her three kittens JAX, SEVEN and CLEO were found in a bag in the dumpster behind a local shopping plaza and are available for adoption. Cassie and her babies adores attention, are friendly and sweet. Cassie is healthy, spayed and current on vaccines. Information on Cassie’s kittens is as follows: Seven is approximately 10 weeks old and is a black and white male kitten. Jax is approximately 10 weeks old and is a male white with tan tabby markings. Cleo is approximately 10 weeks old and a female white with tan markings. All of these kittens are spayed/neutered, healthy and current on vaccines.

BENSON is a long-haired black Maine Coon mix kitten. He was found in a cat carrier at a local vet office. Benson is  adjusting well to life in The Animal Center’s foster program. He is still learning not to fear  humans, but has discovered that petting feels nice and playing with toys. In the right home, Benson will blossom. He is neutered, healthy and current on vaccines.

MALIBU is a purry, 5-month-old buff tabby lap cat. Malibu has been getting overlooked for adoption because he’s a little shy when meeting new people and he’s no longer a “baby” kitten. Malibu has a loving personality and is in need of a new home. He is healthy, neutered and current on vaccines.

ANGEL lives up to her name by being affectionate and outgoing. She would like nothing more then to be petted or to play. A young mother to Spyder and Pumpkin (kittens you may view on The Animal Center’s website), Angel was spared being euthanized at a kill shelter when volunteers stepped in to save her and her kittens.

Good news: Pumpkin has been adopted.

To adopt, contact The Animal Center at info@theanimalcenter.org or 270-0228 (emailed preferred).

The Animal Center is a Newtown-based, non-profit animal welfare charity. The Animal Center partners with other rescue groups as well as veterinary offices to save cats who might otherwise be euthanized. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity, helps approximately 250 cats a year, and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
