To The Editor:

I write in support of Paul Lundquist for Selectman. Paul is one of the most experienced members of our community in town governance and is a broad-minded, reasonable person who does not let ideology overcome his clear and objective view of any issue.

Paul has supported initiatives from both sides of the political spectrum based solely on whether or not they would be good for Newtown, never because of the way the political winds may be blowing. Paul cares deeply about this community and is committed to supporting the things that make Newtown such a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

We are lucky to have him as a neighbor and even luckier that he is willing and able to work for all of us, because he is thoughtful, intelligent, a creative thinker, and a person you can trust.
