To The Editor:

I most enthusiastically endorse Jordana Bloom to serve on the Newtown Legislative Council for her 4th term. How lucky we are to have Jordana representing our 2nd District and enriching the lives of all Newtowners. Let’s be sure we keep her on the LC for the upcoming term.

With many years of experience in public service to Newtown, Jordana is currently not only the Vice Chair of the LC, but also the Chair of the Ordinance Subcommittee. She cares ardently about education and its importance to our community and our growth as a town, and so serves on the Education Subcommittee of the Council as well.

For the last 3.5 years Jordana has worked at the C.H. Booth Library as Strategic Project Manager, which has given her a unique and valuable perspective on our town.

I’ve known Jordana for many years now, and can attest to her integrity, intelligence, strong work ethic, and dedication to the community. If anyone listens to her constituents and their needs, it’s Jordana.

If you live in District 2, do the right thing for Newtown and vote for Jordana on November 4th. She deserves your vote, and we deserve her as our continuing and valuable advocate.
