50 Years Of ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’
The cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show is celebrating a milestone this year. After 50 years, fans still gather to throw confetti at the scream and snap their gloves in the audience. Newtown locals will have an opportunity to join in on the fun on October 24 and 25, 7:30 pm at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.
On Friday, October 24, only the movie will be screening. The 1975 musical comedy film is rated R, and tickets are $20 for just the movie, but audience members can purchase a prop bag for $6. Concessions will be available for purchase.
On Saturday, October 25, things heat up with Come Again Players, which will perform as a shadow cast for the night. Tickets are $30, and audience members can purchase a prop bag for the shadow cast showing as well. Concessions will be available Saturday as well.
Costumes are highly encouraged, and audience participation is expected. This is a program Edmond Town Hall has put on yearly and which always draws a large crowd, so do not shiver with anticipation and visit edmondtownhall.org now to get tickets. Tickets are expected to sell out.
