Former Librarian  Shows Art At Burnham

BRIDGEWATER — Sheila Tintera, a resident of New Milford and a former children’s librarian at Burnham Library, will display her art in drawings, etchings, lithographs, pen and ink, and gouache paintings during the month of month of November at the library where she once worked. The show will run from October 30 until December 1.

Ms Tintera has been interested in art since childhood. She majored in fine arts at Massachusetts School of Art in Boston. Her botanicals and landscapes were worked from sketches done in the field, finished in the studio, and printed at Rock Kill Press in Kent.

The library, on Route 133 in the center of Bridgewater, can be contacted by calling 860-354-6913.
