Eric and Connie Braun of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their son, Keith William Braun, of Stamford, to Janelle Mary Christopher, also of Stamford. The bride to be is the daughter of Nancy and Jeff Christopher of Kattskill Bay, N.Y.

Janelle is a 1997 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, in Scotia, N.Y. She did her undergraduate work at Western New England College and her master’s studies at the University of Connecticut at Storrs.

She is employed as a proofreader for Omega Engineering.

Keith is a 1995 graduate of Newtown High School, and completed his undergraduate work at Western Connecticut State University.

The future groom is an administrator for media asset services for The History Channel/A&E Television Networks.

The couple is planning a November 2011 wedding, to take place in Lake George, N.Y., where the bride is from.
