Little Britches Fundraiser

The Little Britches Therapeutic Riding Program will hold a Dolly and Me Holiday Tea fundraising event Sunday, November 14, at Cornucopia at Oldfield Bed and Breakfast at 782 Main Street North, Southbury.

Tickets are available for one-hour seatings at 1 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4 pm. Tea, punch, and holiday cookies will be served to adults, children, and dolls.

There will be holiday shopping opportunities for handcrafted clothes and accessories designed to fit 18-inch American Girl and 15-inch Bitty Baby Dolls.

American Girl Doll Books will be for sale at this event by Borders of Southbury. An assortment of American Girl Doll titles and craft items will be available for purchase.

Little Britches volunteers, two from Nonnewaug High School, one from Woodbury Middle School, and one from New Milford High School, will dress up as American Girl doll characters, and will talk about their families’ holiday traditions.

More than 70 children with special needs ride with Little Britches, which has provided therapeutic riding lessons to area children for more than 30 years.
