Preserving Wildlife At
Next Sierra Club Meeting
Action Wildlife Foundation, a former Goshen family farm dedicated to the preservation of wildlife, will offer a presentation describing its mission to preserve many non-native species of wildlife during the next Housatonic Valley Group of The Sierra Club. Foundation owner Ciel Boniewicz will discuss a number of the large wildlife species she has imported to the farm in order to educate the public of the importance of AWFâs endeavor.
The meeting will be at Newtown Congregational Churchâs meeting house, at 41-A Main Street (behind Newtown General Store), on Thursday, November 2. The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm, and is free of charge.
Parking is available in the lot behind Edmond Town Hall or behind Newtown Savings Bank, both on Main Street.
