DANBURY â The Institute for Holistic Health Studies (IHHS) at Western Connecticut State University hosts an evening presentation featuring three highly distinguished professionals in the field of herbology and nutrition. The panel discussion entitled, âHerbs and Nutritional Self-Careâ will take place on Monday, October 29, from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
The program will take place at Warner Hall on the Midtown campus, 181 White Street. General admission is $15; seniors will be admitted for $10 and students for $5.
According to IHHS Director, Dr Jeanette Tedesco, âHerbs have the power to heal the body and soothe the soul. In this very special evening presentation, participants will have the rare opportunity to have their questions and concerns addressed by three highly distinguished professionals in the field of nutrition and herbology.â
The three panelists are Judith Dreyer, a nutritional consultant, herbalist and founder of Nutrition and Holistic Health Services; E. Barrie Kavasch, an ethnobotanist, master herbalist and author of more than 18 popular books including American Indian Healing Arts; and Barry Sherr, a certified nutritionist and owner of the natural products store, Chamomile in Danbury.
