Russell T.  Provost

Russell T. Provost, 86, of Boylston Street, Milford, died on October 18. He was the husband of Margaret (Pouliotte) Provost.

He is survived by his son, Wayne Provost and his wife, Lauren, of Newtown.

Mr Provost was born in Bridgeport, July 31, 1915, son of the late Clarence and Maude Severance Provost. He worked as a machinist at the former Jenkins Valve Company of Bridgeport until his retirement and was a member of the Civil Conservation Corps, Chapter 92, of Milford.

In addition to his wife, son and daughter-in-law, he is survived by another son, William Provost and his wife, Margaret, of Florida; one daughter, Mary Simone and her husband, Joseph, of North Haven; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and Clarence Provost.

A memorial service was held October 24 at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford.
