Urso Joins Reynolds & Rowella

RIDGEFIELD – Tax attorney Kelly M. Urso of Newtown has joined Reynolds & Rowella, LLP, a certified public accounting firm with offices in Ridgefield, Wilton, and New Canaan.

Ms Urso earned a juris doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992. She worked for Pricewaterhouse, LLP, as a senior tax consultant. She then joined KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, as international executive tax manager and later moved to General Electric International, where she was head of the tax department. Here she advised on worldwide individual tax issues, implemented worldwide tax planning schemes, and ensured global tax compliance.

Ms Urso is on the compensation committee and on the board of directors of Travelzoo.com, a website that promotes current sales, specials, and travel deals from hundreds of travel companies over the Internet, and is active with both local and national charity functions. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s taxation section, the Newtown Chamber of Commerce, and the Newtown Business & Professional Women’s Club.

She lives with her husband, John, and their two sons, Jack and Mark, in Newtown.
