As a longtime resident of Newtown, I care deeply about the safety and well-being of our community. That’s why I’m proud to support Dr Neil Chaudhary for the Newtown Police Commission. Neil brings a rare combination of professional expertise, integrity, and a genuine dedication to public service.

He’s not only a respected member of our town, but also a nationally recognized expert in traffic safety. For over 20 years, Neil has worked with law enforcement agencies across the country to help reduce traffic injuries and fatalities. He’s served on Connecticut’s task forces focused on DUI prevention, teen driving, and seat belt use, and has even testified before the National Transportation Safety Board on distracted driving. His career has been built on using data and research to save lives — exactly the kind of experience we need on the Police Commission, which also serves as Newtown’s traffic authority.

Locally, Neil has a strong track record. He’s served on the Police Commission before, and as vice-chair of the Legislative Council, where he also led the Education Subcommittee. Neil doesn’t just talk about making Newtown better — he shows up, puts in the work, and gets things done.

Beyond his credentials, Neil is someone you can trust. He’s thoughtful, respectful, and always focused on doing what’s right for our town.
