To the Editor:

I write on behalf of Legislative Council (“LC”) incumbent, District 2 (D2), Jennifer Nicoletti. Jennifer deserves to be reelected as she has demonstrated a refreshing dedication to the Town and all of its residents. As a proud resident and parent, she believes in only what is best for our beautiful Newtown.

As a current councilwoman, Ms Nicoletti has shown that she is well informed on the matters presented to the LC during meetings. She considers all aspects, i.e., pros and cons, as well as the impact on the Town and all residents. She is vocal when difficult issues need to be addressed.

By its nature, the LC, is the fiscal authority and the Town’s legislative body. The LC is truly a special governing body for this Town.

Ms Nicoletti has consistently demonstrated she wants what is best for all residents of Newtown. Her current term on the LC shows that she desires Newtown hold true to its small-town values. She advocates for Newtown to continue being a safe place to live, for all ages, and to raise children. She votes to ensure that Newtown remains attractive to current and future residents, as well as, the individuals employed in the various municipal departments. She also understands the needs of local business owners. Her views are fair, impartial, and objective, when serving on the LC.

I ask that you all reelect Jennifer Nicoletti for LC D2, as she has a proven record of making well informed decisions that reflect solid judgment, and do not compromise her values or integrity when serving the Town.
