Spooky Writing Contest Announced
Local writers with original spooky stories to share are invited to submit their tales to the inaugural Spooky Writing Contest.
Through October 31, C.H. Booth Library patrons of all ages are welcome to submit an original spooky story for the first annual library-wide writing contest.
Submitted stories must be set in Connecticut; they can be set in the past, present or future; must be a minimum of two sentences and a maximum of ten pages; must not have excessive foul language or gore/rated PG-13; and cannot be ChatGPT.
Categories are Kids, for writers ages 6-12; Teens (13-18); and Adults.
Top winners in each category will be featured in a statewide collection of spooky CT stories.
