College Financial Aid Program At Bethel Library
BETHEL â Saturday, November 4, from 10 am to noon, Ron Auriana, Financial Services, will present a program âCollege Funding Solutions and Financial Aid: How To Get Your Fair Shareâ in the Seelye Room of the Bethel Public Library.
Topics include: an understanding of the financial aid process, how it works and facts versus myths; the financial aid application process (not completion of the forms); the impact of parental and student assets; how income affects aid eligibility; the single/divorced/remarried parentsâ dilemma; dependent student versus independent student; the importance of deadlines; and shopping financial aid packages.
There is limited seating at this presentation. Registration is required to guarantee a place. To register, call the library, 794-8756, extension 4.
Coffee will be available courtesy of the Friends of the Bethel Public Library. All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are free, open to the public, and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled.
