DERBY â Itâs that spooky time of year again. Children of all ages are invited to Kellogg Environmental Center for a program about the creatures of Halloween on Saturday, October 28, from 10 to 11:30 am.
Attendees will explore the worlds of the various creatures associated with Halloween including bats, spiders, crows, and owls. In addition to learning about the fascinating life history, importance to nature, and the legends behind these animalsâ relevance to Halloween, children will also enjoy some fun Halloween creature crafts.
The program is free, but preregistration is required. To register or for more information, call 734-2513. The Kellogg Environmental Center, operated by the DEPâs Office of Communications and Education, is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue, off Route 34.
