Public Performances Of ‘Robin Hood’—

Missoula Children’s Theatre Coming To St Rose

On Saturday, November 4, the children of St Rose School will bring the story of Robin Hood to life with the help of The Missoula Children’s Theatre.

Two tour directors from The Missoula Children’s Theatre, the nation’s largest touring children’s theater, will arrive at St Rose on October 30 with a set, lights, costumes, props, and makeup — everything except the cast. They will cast 50 to 60 St Rose students after holding auditions.

For more than 30 years, The Missoula Children’s Theatre has brought theater production to students around the country. The group began as a traveling repertoire company. They branched out, performing plays that included parts for children. When a snowstorm made it impossible for children in a cast to get to a performance, local children were recruited, and a new concept in children’s theater was born.

Rehearsals will take place after school all week long. On Saturday, November 4, two public performances of Robin Hood will be offered, at 2 and 7 pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 for adults and $6 for children 13 and under.

There is no charge for children under 3.
