5th Annual Newtown Hooked Rug Show, 9:30 am–3 pm, Reed Intermediate School, 3 Trades Lane, admission $8 adults (children free with paying adult), rug displays, 35 vendors, hooking demonstrations, guest speaker Linda Rae Coughlin (1 pm, “Finding A Voice”), partial proceeds to benefit Newtown Meeting House; 270-8293.

Holiday Pet Photos, 12:30–4:30 pm, Edmond Town Hall gymnasium, 45 Main Street, $25 with appointment, $35 walk-ins, holiday photos (with or without props) of pets by members of Flagpole Photographers, proceeds to be divided between photography club and Canine Advocates of Newtown; 482-2606.
