The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum To Present Aldrich Undercover: A âSecretâ Exhibition & Benefit Art Sale
RIDGEFIELD â Think you can spot a masterpiece? Aldrich Undercover, a âsecretâ exhibition and benefit art sale presented by The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, will feature hundreds of original works by contemporary artists available for purchase. Aldrich Undercover will be held one night only, on Friday, November 17.
Hundreds of artists who have previously exhibited at the museum have been invited to create unique works of art on identical 8 x 10 inch paper provided by The Aldrich. Each original work will be signed on the back, with no identifying marks on the front, so it can be displayed anonymously.
Aldrich Undercover will feature an exclusive exhibition party and benefit sale to allow collectors to preview and purchase the hundreds of original works of art by some of the most highly-collected artists working today. Guests will enjoy cocktails, nibbles, and music by Morningside, a Ridgefield-based Americana folk band, throughout the evening.
Preview tickets priced at $100 will guarantee early admission to the Aldrich Undercover sale at 6:30 pm, and thus first opportunity to view and purchase the art. Regular admission tickets will be available for $35 at the door beginning at 8.
For event and sponsorship information, contact Rachel Brenha, museum events coordinator, at RBrenha@AldrichArt.org or at 203-438-4519 extension 18.
