Christmas Is Where The Heart Is

REDDING RIDGE — Home for the Holidays, the 22nd annual Christmas theatre banquet at the historic Spinning Wheel Inn, will run through December 30 this year. The holiday tradition features a four-course dinner, freshly cooked and served between the three acts of a professional musical production.

When Home for the Holidays begins, everyone is somewhere for the holidays, even if they aren’t particularly happy about where they’re going. But which would be worse: spending another Christmas with the in-laws, watching their rotating artificial pink tree, or being stuck on a train with a group of total strangers? Home for the Holidays reminds viewers that Christmas comes, no matter where you are and who you are with.

The show was written and is being produced and directed by Karen Randazzo of Stepping Out Entertainment. Musical direction is by Peter Randazzo.

Three different casts rotate throughout the eight weeks of performance. In the role of Mike Miller are actors David Berliner of Fairfield, Tom Morris of Danbury, and Charles Wade of Bridgeport. In the role of Johnny are Jim Holden of West Hartford, and Mark Holleran and Raymond Michaud, both of Trumbull.

Playing the part of Chris Timmons are Beth Bria of Bethel, Deborah Holleran of Trumbull, and Andrea Kennedy of Milford.

As April Lazniak, actors Barbara Brown and Tracey Marble, both of Trumbull, and Priscilla Squires of Danbury will alternate. The role of Tom Timmons is played by Paul Hatrick of Monroe, Scott Kealey of Bethany , and Lou Ursone of Stamford.

And as Constantine, Frank Calamaro of Essex, John LaMendola of Brookfield, and Peter Randazzo of Trumbull will rotate on performances.

Evening and matinee performances are presented daily. Tickets for show and dinner range from $45 to $58, plus tax and gratuity.
