Thinking about gifts for the holidays? Wouldn’t it be handy to see the items offered by companies that sell through home parties – without having to go to each of the parties?

The St Rose of Lima Women’s Club will hold a large, free “home party” featuring a dozen or more vendors – from Avon to Truly Yours Stationary – on Saturday, November 3, from 9 am to 3 pm, in the St Rose Parish Hall.

Among the vendors will be Jeannine S. DeAngelis of Avon; Kelly Derbyshire of Country Peddler; Kirsten Mawdsley of Creative Memories; Dawn Leonardi of Discovery Toys and Truly Yours Stationery; Ginny Chion of Mary Kay; Michelle Babyak of Partylite; Alpana Dholakia of the Pampered Chef; Barbara Wolf of Tupperware; Shelley Kappauf of Longaberger Baskets; Kathy White of Stampin’ Up!; Sue Benedetti of La Belle Vie European Tapestries, and others. Market America, a company that has divisions ranging from cosmetics and health care to automotive, will be represented by Katie Moser, Dale Meier, and Bob Edwards.

Peter’s Boat Catholic books and religious articles also will participate.

Orders placed at the party will be received in plenty of time for holiday giving. A portion of the proceeds will be donated by the companies to help reduce the parish debt.

There also will be refreshments, a raffle, and a bake sale.
