New Evening Bible Study

A new evening Bible Study will begin November 12 at Newtown Congregational Church. The New York Times best seller The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson will be used. The study will be from 7:30 until 9 pm in the parlor of the church house, on West Street in Newtown.

There is a small book and study guide, so it is asked that participants register in advance in order that materials may be purchased. Everyone is welcome. Call Jean or Chuck Leety at 426-0011 or the church office Tuesday through Friday at 426-9024.

Regular Wednesday morning Bible study with the Rev Steven Gordon, senior minister, continues at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary. He continues to study from Henri Nouwen’s book.
