Family And Friends

Michael Jay Tabor, 55, of Boise, Idaho, died October 18, at St Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. He was born in White Plains, N.Y., January 31, 1955, the first of three children born to Bettyann and Harold J. Tabor.

Mr Tabor graduated from Newtown High School in 1973, where he was very active in football and awarded a football scholarship.

He moved to Boise in 1975. He was a self-employed master woodworking craftsman and owner of Integrity Home Inspections.

Mr Tabor was blessed with a wonderful group of friends. He enjoyed bicycling, skiing, and river rafting.

He is survived by his mother; and sisters Suzanne and Kristen. The family thanks the Boise community, the family of St Alphonsus Hospital, and friends for all of the care shown these past few weeks.

A private ceremony took place October 22, at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise.

Donations may be made to the Mike Tabor Memorial Fund, to place a bench along the trail where he loved to ride his bike. Please make checks payable to the City of Boise, Mike Tabor in the memo line, and mail to Boise Parks and Recreation, 1104 Royal Boulevard, Boise Idaho 83706.
