Residents Win Electronics

SOUTHBURY — The 200-plus runners and numerous participants in Southbury Business Association’s (SBA) 21st annual Fall Classic 10K Road Race & Wellness Fair at Community House Park received a heavy dose of information and services to  improve their health.

Through sponsor Union Savings Bank’s raffle during, two Newtowners also walked away with great electronic prizes. First prize winner Eduardo Fuentes won a 27-inch LCD HDTV; and second prize winner Colleen O’Shea of Sandy Hook won an iPod.

Proceeds from the event benefit the SBA Scholarship fund Pomperaug High School graduated and several community initiatives.
