You may not realize it, but Newtown will be joining Bethel, Redding, and Ridgefield to join a new probate court district. We will no longer have a probate court in Newtown. This court will be located in Bethel. Probate is not just for wills and estates. Probate courts do a lot of work related to children. Our Judge Rogers hears cases three days a week.

[The regional probate judgeship] is a six-figure position. The new court will serve 78,000 residents. Tim Holian feels that represents a full-time commitment. He has stated that he will give up his practice and dedicate himself to being our judge of probate. Tim has served Newtown in various capacities his entire life. He has always lived up to his commitments. He is dependable, compassionate, and has integrity. He has not launched any attack ads.

I trust Tim Holian and will be proud to support his candidacy next Tuesday. This is not a glamorous job so you can find him in the last column Row B. Please join me and vote for Tim Holian next Tuesday. We lost the fight for the court; let’s not lose our judge, too.

Thank you,

LeReine Frampton
