The public is invited to the âUpscale, Downscale Tag Saleâ hosted by the Newtown Visiting Nurse Association, Saturday, November 6, in the VNA shop below Edmond Town Hall, Main Street, from 9 am to noon. Early birds are invited to what VNA members call one of the biggest events in the more than 90-year history of the Newtown VNA, but there is a $10 charge for 8 am arrivals. There is no admission charge between 9 am and noon.
The Newtown VNA has received a donation of clothing and small household items from two major estates and are offering this collection at extremely attractive prices. There will be a huge selection of new and nearly new designer and smart womenâs clothing, shoes, dresses, slacks, golfing items, costume jewelry, handbags, accessories, and a few home furnishings, according to VNA member Mae Schmidle.
The VNA Thrift Shop is located in the lower left corner area at the rear of Edmond Town Hall. Look for signs on Main Street and around the building.
