Since the next print edition of The Newtown Bee will be November 4, 2016, which will be the last issue before Election Day on Tuesday, November 8, The Newtown Bee will only accept political endorsement letters that limit themselves to a discussion of the merits of a favored candidate.

Letters that attack the positions of candidates, which normally might elicit a written rebuttal from letter writers with a different political views, will not be considered for publication next week.

In addition, a reminder that due to the large number of endorsement letters for local candidates received, the paper does not print endorsements for presidential candidates.
