A Sure Sign Of Merit

To the Editor:

Anytime the powers-that-be want me to do something, I usually find that it’s not in my best interests. So it is with the charter changes that will be on the ballot next week. The fact that the leaders of both political parties and some of the Legislative Council are against them makes me sure the proposals have considerable merit.

The revisions may not make the town perfect, but I’m sure they will make it better. Let’s do something positive for the town – and for ourselves – and pass all five charter proposals.
