To the Editor:

I am writing in support of the reelection of Herb Rosenthal and Joe Bojnowski to the first selectman and selectman positions.

There are times when conditions warrant a change in leadership. This is not one of those times. Whether the issue is the purchase of Fairfield Hills, education, the 5/6 school, the protection of open space, resurfacing roads, eliminating eyesores, or improving our infrastructure, Rosenthal/Bojnowski has built an impressive record of leadership and accomplishment. Newtown has continued to improve while maintaining its essential character.

These times require the experience and stability that the Rosenthal/Bojnowski team brings. They have demonstrated that they care about Newtown and have earned the right to continue the work they have started.

Please vote for Herb Rosenthal and Joe Bojnowski on November 6.
