Trieste Robertson

Trieste Robertson, 82, wife of the late Frederick Robertson, of Taunton Lake Road, Newtown, died on October 29 in Danbury.

She was born in Bridgeport on March 19, 1919, and had been a resident of Newtown since 1972.

She is survived by one son, James and his wife, Susie, of Marcy, N.Y.; one daughter, Gail Bicking of Newtown; one sister, Tranda Pinkowsky of Bridgeport; five grandchildren, Melissa, Trieste, Frederick, Henry, and Amanda; and six great-grandchildren, Steven, Megan, Amber, Sarah, Elizabeth, and “Fat Boy” Jon. She was predeceased by two sisters, Maria LaBarba and Olga Barberio.

Funeral services were held at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on October 31. Interment was in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
