To The Editor:

As we head into the final days of the campaign, we want to thank everyone we’ve met while knocking on doors, attending events, and simply going about the day. Those conversations, whether on front porches, at ball fields, or in the aisles of grocery stores, remind us what makes Newtown such a special place to call home.

Through it all, one thing is clear: people care deeply about Newtown. And Newtown is exactly where our focus remains.

While national issues dominate the headlines and social media feeds, Newtown’s success depends on steady, local leadership that delivers real results. From improving roads and maintaining strong schools to supporting public safety and promoting smart growth, Jeff has focused his time and energy as First Selectman on local priorities that matter most to residents. The results of that leadership can be seen throughout town, from the arrival of new businesses to the newly-improved pickleball courts.

Charlie is eager to bring his complementary talents, energy, and commitment to that same mission: working alongside Jeff to build upon the progress Newtown has made. Residents have seen him work with Jeff on the Legislative Council, and so know that he’s ready to get going on day one.

On Election Day, we’d be honored to have your vote to continue moving Newtown forward, together.
