Thank you, Newtown, for your enthusiastic participation in helping shape our community’s future. Your participation — whether talking with candidates, being informed, volunteering on campaigns, or turning out to vote in record numbers — made this election particularly meaningful.

I’m honored to serve as one of your Legislative Council Members and am committed to addressing the concerns you’ve shared throughout the campaign.

My thanks extend to the dedicated election workers who ensure our democratic process remains free and fair. And I am particularly grateful to every candidate who stepped forward to serve. It takes courage to put your name and ideas before voters. Democracy thrives when residents are willing to step up, and our community is stronger for the contribution of each and every candidate to the discussion about our future.

Elections are conversations about what we want for the future, and campaigns illuminate what matters most to a community. Through our chats on front doorsteps, exchanges in public forums, and election results, Newtown has spoken clearly: there is work ahead. I’m ready to listen, collaborate, and bring solutions to the table.
