To The Editor:

I write to offer a sincere thank you to every Newtown resident who voted on Tuesday. The turnout was spectacular and a sure sign that people were engaged in this election. That is very gratifying as a candidate.

Personally, I appreciate the continued trust and support of all District 1 voters. Thank you for electing me to another term on the Legislative Council. I enjoy serving this town where I grew up. There are challenges ahead, and I will continue to work extraordinarily hard on behalf of ALL residents, no matter party affiliation.

Thank you again. To my fellow candidates, you have my respect for stepping up to run for office.
