To The Editor:

I would like to thank the voters for their overwhelming support in Re-Electing me to the Board of Finance. I promise to continue to work for bipartisan successes for all of the people of Newtown. I would like to especially thank my wife and family for their continued support, and the many, many people who spent time to write letters of endorsement to the Bee.

On a different note, thank you to the Main Street home and business owners for another great Halloween! Estimates are about 3,000 children weathered the cold and windy eve. A special thank you to the Newtown police for once again providing their added presence. This annual, spontaneous happening is one of the things that truly makes Newtown special! And, the children and parents were again extremely polite. We’ve never had this before but Trick o’ Treaters gave us flowers in a special cup, hand warmers, special thank you cards and dog treats :) So kind. So thoughtful.
