To The Editor:

Thank you, Newtown voters. I’m deeply honored and excited to begin my newly elected term on the Board of Selectmen.

I look forward to working with my fellow elected Selectman, Jeff Capeci, and I’m very grateful that he has chosen to continue serving to help navigate the many important matters ahead in the next two years. I also appreciate the opportunity I’ve had over the past weeks to get to know my fellow BOS candidate, Charlie Gardner. I know he will be a great asset to Newtown in whatever role he chooses to pursue in the future.

Finally, a great big thank you to our newly elected First Selectman, Bruce Walczak, for an engaging, energetic, and truly enjoyable campaign season. It’s been a great experience, and I look forward to all that awaits us as we begin our work together serving the Newtown community.
