Cancer Program: Surviving Fatigue

DANBURY –– “Keys to Survivorship –– Fighting Fatigue” will be addressed at a Cancer Education program on Thursday, November 13, at 2 pm, in the Praxair Conference Room at Danbury Hospital. The program is co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Ann’s Place, Home of I can, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, and The Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital.

Featured speakers will be Patrice Hough, manager of the Praxair Cancer Center; Peggy Gilmore, a holistic practitioner in the hospital’s Complementary Alternative Medicine department, and registered dietitian Vicki Barber, of Food and Nutritional Services. They will present practical information on how to manage cancer fatigue.
