Fast And Easy Holiday Decorations

Katherine Neville will be the guest speaker of the Town and Country Garden Club of Newtown on Wednesday, November 12, at 7:30 pm, at the senior center in Sandy Hook.

Ms Neville, a master gardener, will be speaking on how to create fast and easy decorations for the holidays. She will demonstrate how to choose items from within the home to design a table setting, a centerpiece or even napkin rings that will really impress friends and family, but will require very little time, expense and energy. Some of her arrangements will be used as door prizes.

Ms Neville became interested in flower design once she found that corporate life was becoming too stressful. She began by making arrangements for friends and then developed her newfound passion into a second successful career by running a garden design business in Woodmont, Conn.

Ms Neville is the president of Milford Garden Club, the president of Fairfield Horticultural Society, and she makes time to teach at New York Botanical Gardens.
