The Career Center at Newtown High School presents the following list of national scholarships currently available for college-bound students. Please note that some of these scholarships request money to be sent with the scholarship application.
The Career Center automatically advertises all scholarships received in the mail. RMHC/African American Future Achievers Scholarship Program â The Ronald McDonald House Charities offers scholarships for high school seniors who have at least one parent of African American heritage and plan to attend an institution of higher education full-time after high school. Students should contact their local RMHC chapter for more information. Applications and additional information are available in the Career Center. Deadline is February 1.

Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS Sweepstakes â One hundred high school seniors enrolled in the CollegeSTEPS Program for the 2003â2004 school year will be randomly chosen to receive $1,000 in tuition prizes. Entry forms and information about CollegeSTEPS is available in the Career Center or at www.wellsfargo.com/collegesteps.
