The PJ Library Project is a privately funded program which sends a free book or CD once a month for a year to families with at least one Jewish parent. The goal is to make available Jewish resources to families who might not otherwise have access to them.
The project has been funded by the Mnuchin family in Washington. and The Harold Grinspoon Foundation in Massachusetts. Children from 6 months through age 7 are able to receive books.
This program is one of the many programs The Federation, Jewish Communities of Western CT Inc provides.
